KGMWI designs, develops and manufactures metal components using machining technologies and has become an important supplier to large corporations for supplying complex metal components and services for repair and overhauling. The majority of products supplied by KGMWI is either replacement parts, repair services or adapting new technology to old applications for specialized industries for components that are no longer or not commercially available in the market place. KGMWI’s personnel have strong technical skills and 40+ years of experience serving the elevator industry giving it a competitive edge over its competitors.

Shop Services

Sheave regrooving, turning drums, worm & motor shaft repair, manufacturing of shafts, spacers, etc.
Prototyping, many different adaptor brackets, fabrication of machine guards, governor guards, top of car barricades and motor adaptor bases and much more.
Elevator machine, bearings, seals & shafts repairs on motors and generator, refurbish babbitt bearings, rebuild old operators, escalator step repair, gearbox rebuilding,etc.
